The rotor was ready to install right out of the box. The bearings fit perfectly. The rotor was true and did not require turning. It also seems to be well balanced.
I installed the rotor on a van with nearly 300,000 rough city miles. This is the 2nd set installed on this van. And I have yet to find any flaws in these rotors.
I did not keep exact recordes on the milage on the rotors. But they do not seem to wear prematurely or fade with age. I tend to change rotors instead of turning them because it is cheaper to change them than have them turned and paying a mechanic to do the brake job.
I can recomend these rotors for your pickup and van applications.
Thank you.

I bought these and got home only to find no ABS ring. It says right on this page, "Exact fit for your 1999 E-150 Econoline" but it isn't. I should have gotten the part number ending in 6 not 7.
The only difference in the entire description is under applications it says 4-Wheel ABS for the one I need and 2-Wheel ABS for the one I got.
Now here is why I stick with Advance Auto. I called and they are having a driver deliver the ones I need. What can be better then that? Note, my other vehicle is in the shop after being hit by a drunk driver so I was really stuck with the wheel off and bearings out.

Messy to do the bearings, but that is just the way it is, no way around replacing this style rotor without changing the bearings. Not that difficult.

NO...YH141907 is for RWD only...you need to use Part No. YH141905 for a 4x4

            • A:

No that number is for the 2wd model only.
The ones you need are. Yh145485 or yh141905.
The yh145485 is 4x4 is the rotor and hub all in one designed with the bearing race built in and uses cone bearings. This is the most common 4x4 rotor and most likely the one you need.
The yh141905 rotor is for 4x4 where your wheel bearings are in a sealed hub separate from the rotor. In this design the rotor just slides on and off without touching the bearings. This is not that common of a rotor in that year range of f150 but was still a option so you'll need to check what ones you use.
If you look up both part numbers on the website you will understand what i described by looking at the pictures.
              Hope this helps.

I'm happy to help, Skid 2964! You will typically need to replace the inner grease seal on a 1994-2002 Ford E-150 Econoline or 1994-1996 Ford F-150. The correct inner grease seal parts are National Part No. 4148 or Driveworks Part No. S-4148.

            • CUSTOMER CARE

              A:

Hello Pat, with reference to your question, Wearever Brake Rotor - Front Part No. YH141907, is an exact fit for 1996 Ford E-150 Econoline and not an ideal part for Econoline Club Wagon. This product is for front and not rear part of your vehicle, however, if the ABS ring is cast into the brake rotor. This creates inconsistent tooth sizing and spacing. This issue can be made worse and cause ABS signal faults when the iron heats up and lowers the amount of magnetism, causing an accelerated level of corrosion on the brake rotor. We would suggest that you take your vehicle to a certified mechanic for further diagnosis. For any further assistance, please feel free to call us at: 1-877-238-2623 or visit the nearest Advance Auto Parts store and one of our Parts Pros will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.
