Comments about CARQUEST Clutch TECHnovation Clutch Master Cylinder:

Appears to be a quality aluminum product to replace a plastic aftermarket part. The plastic part was also a Advance Auto part which was replaced several times under the lifetime warranty but often failed at inapproriate times. This aluminum product also solved a clutch release problem during high underhood temperature conditions presumed to be caused by expansion of the less thermally stable plastic hydraulic chamber. The only drawback noted is a poor fitting fastening device at the clutch pedal that occasionally falls off. Removing the attachment device from the old clutch rod and installing on the new solved this issue.

Comments about CARQUEST Clutch TECHnovation Clutch Master Cylinder:

After spending several hours installing a whole new clutch system (Master slave, new lights, clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, clutch master). It worked great for 3 weeks. Then the clutch master split in half!!! Unbelievable. Cost me about $3000 of work that day ontop of repairs.
