Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

Installed this radiator December 2013 on a 1992 Acura Legend. The product page said I would receive either a "Ready-Rad" or a "Tough-One." They sent me a "Tough-One." I have no idea if they're the same or not. Ready-Rad has a web site explaining their virtues, Tough-One does not. So I was hoping for the Ready-Rad.
Got a good price (around 100 with Advance Auto coupon). It was difficult to choose between "recommended" radiator brands (from various forum postings), or go with a local "lifetime warranty" radiator. Opted for the lifetime warranty. The filler neck on this radiator was not finished correctly, it was too wide for the OEM as well as a Tough-One cap to fit on (see pictures). Had to file the plastic down so the cap would fit. Advance Auto compensated me 20 for this which I thought was fair. The posting rules say not to disclose pricing, but I am anyway as that's an important consideration for most of us when choosing parts. Only time will tell if this product holds up, but so far all is well. If I have problems I will try to remember to come back to update this if I'm allowed to.

Lasted only 6 months

    Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

This radiator replaced my factory part. The factory radiator was not leaking but after 17 years I thought I better replace it. I put it in and it worked good at first, there was no problems. But after 6 months it was leaking like crazy from bottom seam where the black plastic was pressed aginst the aluminum. Luckly the warranty was still in effect so I got another one. Hopefully this one lasts more then another 6 months.
