This was a perfect fit for F150. There are 2 different radiators in the F150s; 1 1/4" and a 2 1/4". This is the larger radiator. Just measure the thickness (from front to rear thickness).

Make sure you have the hardware in the box before you leave the store.

I highly recommend replacing the OEM spring hose clamps on the upper and lower hoses with a screw type clamp.

In stock but unusable - 98 Expedition 4.6 2WD w/tow

Radiator was in stock locally. One star.

I paid a 25% more for a Chinese radiator after 25% online discount than having a quality item shipped. No stars.

I paid a 25% more for a Chinese radiator after 25% online discount than having a quality item shipped. No stars.

Radiator was for a 1998 Expedition 4.6L 2WD with towing package. Radiator was right dimensions externally. However the transmission line connections in radiator were not the right size. The fittings in the factory radiator and this radiator were removable. However, this radiator transmission cooler bung was not compatible with the factory fitting. No stars.

Radiator design from factory has a locking lower house. New Gates hose (not purchased from or carried by Advance) would lock, but the engagement was not deep enough on the o-rings on the radiator nozzle. I am not sure if the o-rings were too small of a diameter or if the locking tabs were not tall enough to hold the hose. Either way, radiator leaked at lower house on fluid full. The original lasted 18 years. No stars.

Returned. Ordered the Koyo I wanted to order in the first place, but now have to overnight it because this radiator prevented me from getting my truck on the road when I wanted. No stars.

Wife is upset. No stars.
