Our Carquest Premium starters are designed to meet or exceed OE specifications for fit, form and function. Our starters are remanufactured by an IATF/TS 16949 certified supplier that meets the highest standards achievable. We replace all wear components (brushes, bushings and needle bearings) with new components to ensure long-life. All critical components are electronically tested during assembly and the entire unit is 100% tested, ensuring proper performance backed by an industry-leading warranty. Starter is working fine so far.
My wife told me that she read that the starter had a lifetime warranty, she was wrong. I returned the the old starter to get credit for the cord charge clerk would not let me keep the box that the new starter came in. The clerk told me it had a 10 year limit warranty. He said if the starter housing breaks it's not cover at anytime. I'm still waiting for my $25. credit on my next purchase or maybe my school teacher wife misunderstood that part of the advertisement also. It's to early to make any kind of judgement on the starter since I have only used the car a few times after starter was installed. Everything looks and sounds good so far.

old starter could barely be heard in orig. camry. New starter sounds much louder and faster revolutions of cylinders.
Reviewed after only 1 month and as always only time will tell my real preference; but as of now, I would prefer this starter over the oem starter.
