No problems... Works great!! Perfect fit for 2000 Silverado
I have a 2000 Silverado 2500 4x4 with the 6 liter v8.
I was losing coolant slowly but couldn't find any puddles or evidence. Then I read that if your water pump is leaking from the seals you will typically see white, or light residue around the water pump. This is because the coolant touches the hot engine parts and basically evaporates immediately and leaves a white residue. There are several things I could have checked, but replacing the water pump was the most complete way to insure no further issues.... The part fit perfectly and I have had no issues in the last year since I installed it myself.... The hardest part is the draining of the existing fluids!

Poor quality
This was a warranty replacement for a pump purchased in 2012 that went bad after 20,000 miles. The first was absolutely OEM style but didnt last. This warranty replacement gives me even less confidence. It is not the same specification. The inspection cover on the back is pressed in not screwed on and the gaskets are not the OEM Oring type. Also there's no weep hole. The first one they sold me had all those features. Plus the casting itself is very rough compared to the first. Seems they may have switched to a cheaper vendor, and it shows.

Best you can get as far as Chinese aftermarket pumps are concerned. Doesn't have the factory weep hole or the inspection cover over the impeller. Machining is a bit rough. I cleaned it up before install. Use a gasket dresser to help out with the gaskets.

Great quality product. Only thing to add is you will need a spanner wrench in order to remove the fan/clutch assembly, lucky for me I had worked for a dealership in the past and had my own.

Buy online for a huge discount, and then pick it up in the store. Way cheaper!
This water pump is confusing as it says ToughOne or GMB, but it appears that ToughOne is made by GMB. It works perfectly fine and mounted up just fine. It was easy to replace. What makes it cheap are the paper gaskets instead of the stamped metal w/ rubber. I was also disappointed that the sealing surfaces had some nicks and stuff in them. Sealed up just fine though.
