Carquest Premium Engine Water Pump: New, Gasket/Seals Included

I replaced my failing AC Delco unit with this new GMB pump on my trailblazer when the fan clutch gave up the ghost. Its' fit, form, and function is the same as the much more expensive dealer part and OE installed part. They look identical next to each other. The hardest part of the install was removing the fan clutch after that it was cake. I've used these GMB pumps in many cars from Toyota, Ford, and GM vehicles and all are performing just as well as the day they were installed. I usually do wp replacement as routine maintenance at around 100K or so just to save headache from a catastrophic failure on the highway. The Trailblazer 4.2 I6 pump is a common issue due to faulty cooling fan clutch causing a wobble in the fan that eventually causes the pump to fail. This pump is up to the job and has proven itself over many applications that I've installed it in. I don't even look at the re-manufactured pumps if there is a new alternative listed. The new part is usually just a fraction more and is worth the little extra $$.

I posted a 5 star review around January 2015 and here I am in April 2015 to report the pump gave up. Had to have my truck towed and have it replaced. I will not recommend or buy this brand again. I am posting this cause I could not find a place to edit my previous review. Take care all.
