Our Carquest Premium alternators are designed to meet or exceed OE specifications for fit, form and function. Our alternators are remanufactured by an IATF/TS 16949 certified supplier that meets the highest standards achievable. We replace all wear components (brushes, bushings and bearings) with new components to ensure long-life. All critical components are electronically tested during assembly and the entire unit is 100% tested, ensuring proper performance backed by an industry-leading warranty. The product works well but....
I guess Advance Auto has changed its core return policy. Instead of putting the core credit against the balance on my credit card, they now issue a gift card that can only be used at Advance Auto. They are forcing people to buy more from Advance Auto to get their money back. My use of Advance Auto in the future is negligible now. I have been a customer since the early 1990's.
