I replaced the alternator on my 2007 Dodge Caliber with 110,000 miles. The decoupler turns out to be the part that was bad, but since the alternator has to be removed anyway to fix, I decided to replace with new alternator. The alternator was a perfect match. I would like to see videos on the on your web site for How to do replacements. I did have to go to the internet to find out how to get my alternator out. You have to unbolt the AC compressor and drier unit, and push to the side to squeeze the alternator between compressor and oil filter housing. It will not come out the top side. The power steering pump / alternator bracket is more complicated and has 2 bolts out of reach. I cannot complain about the quality at this time , but I do not see any issues now.

JUNK! Broke after two weeks of install.
Installed this Alternator on my Jeep Patriot and it broke after two weeks under normal driving conditions. Not sure if this was a one time bad reman job as everyone else seems to have good luck with this product but, I unfortunately did not have the same luck.

Direct replacement for my 2007 Dodge Caliber SXT alternator. Accessibility in the caliber is not good but was not too difficult to install. Works great and the car is quiet again.

My alternator was messed up and sounding so loud. My husband researches issue online and than tries to tackle it, did this on his own. Item is heavy and I did have to help him hold it while he bolted it in.

I have had this alternator for the past couple of weeks and it has been working good. Installation was okay but you have to move the A/C compressor out of the way in order to get the old one out from under the car but otherwise to make the installation a bit easier, I moved the coolant reservoir out of the way:)
