The 4-wheel-drive (4WD) actuator is a critical unit of the 4WD system in our all-wheel drive vehicle applications with a part time 4WD operating system. Depending on the vehicle application the actuator may be vacuum or electrically actuated. The actuators job in the system is to lock the front axle when the system is put into a 4-wheel drive mode.
