Had to replace this pump with another of the same brand because the last one lasted exactly 2 years but only had a one year warranty.Counter guy at advance said they now have a limited life time warranty and he would give me a new one with that warranty and pay the $260 or i could get a new one and not pay anything but only get a 90 day warranty.I took the 90 day deal since i will be getting a new truck in spring anyway,Hope it lasts til then.

Comments about CARQUEST Fuel Pump Module Assembly:

This module was a direct drop in replacement for the OEM part that lasted 200,000 miles. I was concerned about the gasket being too large like other people complained about. I did not have the same problem. Be sure to buy a locking ring because your original one will be corroded and disgusting.

Comments about CARQUEST Fuel Pump Module Assembly:

This was a great value when combined with the online promotion for 30% off. My husband had it hooked up in no time and now his truck is running better then it has in a long time. We would definitely recommend this product and will use it next time we need to change it out on another vehicle. I was also happy to hear that it has a lifetime warranty and so if it was to go out then it would not cost us again. I love how easy it is to buy advanced auto parts online and then pick up in store and save. I tell everyone I know about this.

Hi Roman! This Fuel Pump Module Assembly - Part No. E3500M has inlet type strainer. Since you didn't mention the specific vehicle, it's hard to tell the fitment. To give you the correct information I would need the year, make, model and engine size of the vehicle.

The old pump had an external sock. I install the new pump that had only a small external sock and an internal sock. Was I supposed to pull the internal sock out of the pump housing?

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

No, Bobby! You will not need to remove the strainer from the old unit. The new one will have the needed strainers included with it. It may only have an internal strainer.
