Carquest Frontline brake pads utilize a patented 4-layer HEX shim, now upgraded with aramid fibers, to provide quiet braking and reduce shim wear. These brake pads are also supplied with coated brake hardware and caliper pin grease for nearly every application. Massive improvement!!!
46k miles on the original pads when they started grinding, so I grabbed these as they were available in stock. The extra dollars these cost over the basic replacement pad is worth it. My truck now stops better than I ever has.
