Carquest Frontline brake pads utilize a patented 4-layer HEX shim, now upgraded with aramid fibers, to provide quiet braking and reduce shim wear. These brake pads are also supplied with coated brake hardware and caliper pin grease for nearly every application. Good stopping power
Good braking performance. They seem to be a bit louder and dustier than the ceramics that I replaced. I opted to use a semi metallic pad over a ceramic pad for towing performance.

Wear too fast
Pads worn out in a year/ 10k miles. They worked great and I did notice improved stopping power/ resistance to fade while towing, but they wore out way too quickly.
