Solved the problem!

good fit. relatively easy to install. I was concerned about noise, but new blower fan runs quietly. Only been in operation a week, but so far so good.

Direct fit motor and blower assembly. Nothing to get too excited about, it does the job that it's supposed to do. As a plus, it's made in Canada as was the OEM part.

Comments about ToughOne Flanged Vented CW Blower Motor w/ Wheel:

Its a squirrel cage fan with Typical construction, nothing that makes it stand out it would if its fan was made of 6061 aluminum for the sake of reducing flexure when in operation would improve CFM some and offer a more dependable unit.

        • Q:

I purchased this as a replacement for my 2001 GMC Sonoma (4.3L)
After a few days, it blew out the 30A fuse and stopped working. I replaced the fuse, then a few days later it started blowing smoke through the vents, then blew the fuse again.

Is this a remanufactured part? Does it tend to draw more than 30 amps?

Hi SouthCarolinaCamaroDriver! This Blower Motor - Part No. 35344 is a brand new product. Its RPM equivalent to an OEM motor. I'd suggest that you take your vehicle to a certified mechanic for further diagnosis.

I have a 94 Sonoma V6 vortex w/ac automatic transmission 2wd. I recently put this product in and put it on high and after ten minutes the motor started smoking and made a noise and then it stopped. Is this from not enough ammage or is there another problem?

            A:

Hi Watsy, Sorry, without the presence of your vehicle we would not be able to properly diagnose it, nor provide you with a 100% answer. I would suggest that you take your vehicle and get it thoroughly checked by a certified mechanic before buying any parts that may/may not solve the problem.

Hi Watsy! Since you didn't mention the specific vehicle, it's hard to tell for sure. To give you the correct information I would need the year, make, model and engine size of the vehicle.
