Right now we are unable to locate the timing belt for your 1991Ford Ranger online. However, if you could please visit your nearest Advance Auto store or call us directly at 1-877-ADVANCE (238-2623) and one of our representative there would be more than happy to assist you.

  • Q:

My 1989 Ranger quit unexpectably. I suspect it is a timing belt failure. The engine turns over with little resistence and no signs of ignition. My only experience with timing belts was a Chevette. Is replacing the belt cut and dry. I would appreciate any information about changing the belt, if that is in fact the problem. Thanks. Tom

With out the presence of your vehicle we would not be able to properly diagnose it nor provide you with a 100% answer. I would recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.
