CARQUEST by Dayco® Automatic Belt Tensioners are specifically built to outperform and outlast competitive OE parts. The heavy duty cast aluminum spring case resists cracking and fatigue. Each component is built to resist rust, endure the toughest of conditions while promoting quieter performance and longer life.

Product Features:
  • Manufactured with a specially coated patented flat wire spring to allow the internal tension to be concentric, thus providing a more even degree of constant tension
  • Contains a metallic locator pin built to withstand extreme drive demands and properly locate the tensioner for installation
  • The patented Deflected Arm Plate dampens arm movement, prolonging the life of the tensioner by limiting the amount of rotational movement
  • This tensioner is another CARQUEST by Dayco┬« product proudly made in the USA

Comments about CARQUEST by Dayco Automatic Belt Tensioner:

Easy to install, fits right where the OEM went, but is not quite as strong a pulley and lacks a recessed mounting hole for the retaining bolt which means the bolt doesn't go into the block as deeply as it did with the OEM part...but it's priced a lot lower than the original!

    • Q:

Is this lifetime warranty, vague warranty description. I have parts that are lifeX from your company, when purchased they took down all my info ' probably for marketing' and said we got you covered if you loose receipt--now they tell me your company has no hard drive space for longer than 2 years and its up to customer to bring in old faded thermal paper rec's after 2 years on lifex parts. LOL this policy sounds like class action suit on the way. All but "we dont have enough HD space" lol. I hope your main office can get my warrantys honored I like advance and buy lots of components for my Northstar eng there. But if not honoring lifex warranty Ill go to Napa/Autozone. Thanks
