Vacuum hoses need replacement every few decades
Fixed my problem! Not unexpected, for a rubber hose being baked under the hood for two decades, to get brittle and leak, leading to incorrect sensor readings. Check the vacuum hoses first, folks, if you get a bad MAF or MAP diagnosis. The sales clerk helpfully found just the right size and type of hose I needed and cut it to length. Very helpful.

Double check the length
Decent enough tubing. Too bad they shorted me by 4 inches. If you buy from the Marion, Ohio store be sure to double check the length. Obviously they can't count or just don't care
