Comments about CARQUEST Alternator - Remanufactured - 50 Amps:

My Izusu truck only has 243,892 miles on it! I had a situation where the truck would start and then die after a few second.

I thought about the fuel pump, fuel filter and injectors. They all checked out.

I pulled the battery and took it to AAP. Checked out but needed to be charged. Ah-ha!

Turns out that the fuel pump starts the truck on the battery then switches to the alternator for the 'run' state.

Changed out the original factory alternator with this unit and I am up and running.
