This was an easy AC fan motor replacement, just use the old OEM plug and bingo. It's cheaperand well built. Made in canada not china. [...]

Comments about CARQUEST 2 Pole Radiator or Condenser Fan Motor:

The base of this fan does not fit into the fan motor mount of a stock '98 Honda Civic fan. I had to shave the plastic off the fan shroud just so this could fit in. By doing this I can't get all the screws to secure the fan. 2 screws is enough to secure the fan, just be aware that this might not fit perfectly without adjustment.

Comments about CARQUEST 2 Pole Radiator or Condenser Fan Motor:

This is a good replacement but.... getting factory mounted fan motor out can present a problem without destroying the shroud mountings.

Also, it will require splicing into th facory connector, remember black to black and orange to blue to maintain correct motor polarity.

                  • Q:

I own a 97 Acura CL 3.0 engine. The radiator has two fans, the passenger side one comes on when I turn the A/C on and when the car heats up. However, the fan on the driver side never turns on. Question is does this motor fit both fans or just one of the radiator fans on my car and if so which one. I just want to make sure I get the right part. Thanks again.
