  • Q:

I installed this regulator in my 67 Dode Dart 270, V8 273ci. When I started the engine the AMP meter went all the way to the right (+) in idle rpm, and at higher rpms the needle would even surpass the last mark on the charge side. Any suggestions?

Happy to help with your question Fico! This voltage regulator does show to be an exact fit for your 67 Dodge Dart. As far as what is happening we can not say for sure without more diagnosis, if you have checked that you have the terminals connected correctly. We suggest having a certified mechanic have a look.
