A satisfactory connector plug!

Comments about BWD Voltage Regulator Connector:

14 June 2017

It is a benefic plug; it fits the bill. One of the plug's two connections goes to the positive supply (ignition on), and the other goes to either one of the generator's field connector. Unlike the generator's field connections, the plug's contact order must be observed. That is, looking at the open end of the plug with the rubber hood's apex held upward, the left connector goes to the generator's field, and the right-side connector goes to the positive supply (ignition on). Conversely, looking at the voltage regulator with the apex upward, as it is factory-mounted on the firewall, the left connector goes to the ignition and the right to the field. Remember the word IF: I. F.
,
The other field connector on the generator (or alternator) is to be connected to the positive supply (ignition on).
