    Comments about BWD Stoplight Switch:

The part looked to be exactly like the part that I replaced. The inly difference I noted was the difference in size of the washer nut. This had no effect on the installation or use of the switch

the brake lights stay on when fuse was in. will this possibly fix the problem? want to know because electrical parts normally cannot be returned.

I'm happy to help, Virginia! It is certainly possible that the brake light switch could be causing your brake lights to stay on. A great way to check for electrical problems is by using a multimeter to check for continuity. Actron Part No. CP7672 can help you track down where the problem may lie, as well as help with any other electrical issues that may creep up in the future.

In a way, yes it does. If it does not work it will not operate the shift interlock relay to allow you to shift out of park.VTXWAYNE
