    A Solenoid in looks only

    By

    from Kenosha, Wi

    Comments about BWD Starter Solenoid:

This solenoid only "Looks" like a real one...First off, the molded plastic end is much larger in diameter than the stock one and doesn't fit as it hits on the starter lifting the back end upo so the contact screw won't line up....after modifying it to fit....it worked twice, then the solenoid stuck in the start position so it was engaged after the car started and the key wouldn't turn the car off as the soleniod was back feeding the distributor...had to disconnect the battery to shut it off......What a piece of Chinese "JUNK"....stay away.......

Will this fit on my Chevy R3500? It has been modified and has a 502 engine and the one that came off of it was a gear reduction starter solenoid on Chevy crate engine.
