This pressure switch shows less oil pressure than the factory switch. I don't know if the factory was incorrect or if this new one is incorrect

Not a good sensor

My sensor was damaged changing out an ac compressor i bought this sensor to replace my ac delco sensor before my pressure was 35 idle 65 high rev installed this sensor it read 15 idle and 28 rev I checked the pressure with my mechanical gauge and this sensor was faulty i was slow to realize this cause i had to go through 2 of them

      I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not solve or be the problem.

      The oil pressure sensor is located underneath the vehicle on the oil filter housing. It is black plastic and has two wires going to it.
