    Comments about BWD Ignition Control Module:

    This is a very good original replacement product. Works well on my 1973 Ford 460 that's been converted to a non-points distributor. It was readily available in-stock at my local Advance Auto Parts when I needed it quickly.

    I would definitely buy this product again if I ever need another. I've been using the one I bought for about 5 months now and about 4,500 miles.

    I would recommend painting this Ignition Control Module. Being cast aluminum, it will have "corrosion" on it after the first time it gets wet under your hood. It's not a big deal unless you like everything to look 100% neat and clean under your hood. Be sure to use something like engine block paint that won't hurt the cooling of the ICM.

        For step by step instructions i recommend that you go to your local Advance Auto Parts store and purchase a repair manual.
