I have a 90 cherokee laredo straight 6 and was wondering if this could be the fix to my problem. It was running fine, when all of a sudden it started sputtering like it was out of fuel and then died. It has half a tank of fuel so that is not it. I managed to get it into a parking lot by tapping the gas, when I press the gas pedal it acts like its choking itself out, when I let up on the gas it idles up and takes off. but if let sit long enough it chokes and dies. I recently replaced the crank sensor, fuel pump, egr valve, plugs & wires. I'm out of ideas and i'm looking for an easy way to diagnose what part is wrong without replacing each sensor and injector. any help would be greatly appreciated

Possibly, but with out the presence of your vehicle we would not be able to properly diagnose it. We would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis.

Try checking the fuel pressure in the fuel rail. Also check the fuel filter, sounds like your net getting enough fuel.
