Easy install. Vacuum port sticks up a little past stock. Had no clearance problems.

I'm happy to help! I found out from BWD that this fuel pressure regulator has a pressure range of 28-65 psi.

  • Q:

how do you adjust the pressure ? how much pressure if you go from 19lb injectors to 24lb's should you run ?
Asked on 6/1/2012 by shag from floyd va.

    1 answer

The correct way to adjust your fuel pressure is with the vaccum line of the fuel regulator disconnected. You must remove and plug the vaccum line going to the regulator or you will be getting false readings, similar to adjusting the timing on vacuum advance distributor. What you are attempting to do is set the maximum fuel pressure. At idle, fuel pressure is reduced due to high vacuum, so the presence of the vacuum line is detremental to fuel pressure. Repeat the process until you have the desired reading. A 19 lb injector will flow 24 lbs at 63 PSI, and a 24 lb injector will flow 30 lbs at 63 PSI.
