The Camshaft interrupter/ Positioning sensor (BWD Camshaft Interrupter - Part No. CSS120) on your 2000 Chevrolet Impala will be located under the power steering pump. You will need to remove pump to gain access to sensor. There is no need to take lines off, just unbolt pump and that can move enough. For any further assistance please feel free to call us at: 1-877-238-2623 or visit the nearest Advance Auto store and one of our representatives will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.
