Q:I have a 92 Cadillac Deville The blower motor stays on even with the ignition turned off, this vehicle has auto temp control. Can't seem to fid the blower motor resister which was my guess to the problem.
A:Hi Ed, I'm happy to help you! It's sounds like the blower fan relay/resistor is stuck or shorted to ground which is why it keeps running. The blower motor resistor unit are usually mounted near the blower motor on the ductwork behind the dash/glovebox area. A water leak from the windshield or cowl area can cause problems with the relay/resistor, so check for any signs of a leak or excess water. Test the motor as well for high current draw which can cause the relay to short out/overheat.
Q:when i turn on ac air comes out of the top and at the bottom but nothing through the dash. is the vent door stuck? and how do i fix it
A:Yes, the AC vent door would have been stuck. However, I I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified AC mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.

Q:Where is A/C heater blower control switch with auto temp module and resistor located on '95 Buick Park Ave Ultra? Blower motor continues to run after ignition switch is turned off.
A:Open the hood and look near cowl for a plug near the air conditioning box just forward of the windshield wipers. It should have several wipers and the resistor itself protrudes downward into the box held in place with two screws. If not, look near blower itself under the dash on the passenger side. The resistor should protrude upwards into the HVAC housing near the blower.
