Do not use in Chrysler poducts! Use NTK!

I bought and installed this Bosch sensor before a trip replacing a 116,000mi stock upstream O2 sensor as part of a big tune up before a trip. 460mi later my check engine light came on with a P0420 - cat efficiency code. Clear the code, within 500mi it would return. Since the cat had no code before, I was asked a tech friend who said the Bosch has too slow of a response time for the PCM and to replace with an NTK o2 sensor. I picked one up in stock from Advance, installed without clearing code, left on same trip this year. The PCM cleared the code within about the same mileage. Problem solved.

The NTK is about the same price and was in stock, there's no reason to not use it.

Used in a 1999 Jeep Wrangler 4.0L.

Hi Satch, glad to serve you! Few common symptoms of a bad oxygen sensor are rough engine idle, engine miss, or run irregularly, poor gas mileage, and increased vehicle emissions. However, I would suggest that you take your vehicle and get it thoroughly checked by a certified mechanic before buying any parts that may/may not solve the problem.
