I have a 2001 BMW X5 which developed a serious oil leak (everytime I stopped, there was a spot). I put a bottle of White Shepard in the oil and after a couple of days of driving, the oil leak was gone except for a small drop here or there. I put in another bottle and after driving for a 3 hrs, not a drop no where. The truck seems to be driving much better also, had white smoke out the back, now no more smoke. I am so pleased with this product, it really works. I'm telling everyone I can about it!!

I purchased this product because of the reviews I found on the Web. After application and driving my car (according to directions), and giving an extra three days- I found no change. The oil leak remains the same. I have a classic car, spent a great deal on it, and thought I might save a little money in the short term, but I did not. Save your money.

Comments about BlueDevil Oil Stop Leak:

Have a 2006 chevy express 2500 with over 215,000 miles on it. Oil leak started about 190,000 miles. Very bad oil leak. I used this product and after about a week the leak was totally stopped. At 215,000 still no oil leak. I have had some success with antifreeze additives but am usually skeptical about most of these products. I do have to admit this stuff really worked for me!

Comments about BlueDevil Oil Stop Leak:

I have a 2003 Ford e150 with 157,000 miles. The engine leaked in three different spots. Leaked enough for one area that even being parked for short time I would see a spot 3 inches in diameter. I added Blue Devil to the engine oil and over a week's time the leaks stopped completely. In that week's time I drove about 250 miles. The leaks slowly disappeared. It didn't happen instantly. Give it time.

I have used this stop oil leak on 3 different cars. Worked perfectly on a 2001 ford mustang gt I had a rear main sealoil leak on! Stopped leaking after about a week but you have to drive it about 100 miles like it says on bottle. I just used it on 2 other cars and will check oil and under cars to see if lives up to expectations like I think will. Trusted product, will always use on cars with oil leaks that I buy in future, saves money than going to a mechanic shop that's going to charger over 400 bucks for sure!!!

Cadillac Northstar - No More Leaking

Comments about BlueDevil Oil Stop Leak:

I had a quite common oil pan leak in a 1997 Cadillac Deville with a Northstar engine. This leak blew back onto the exhaust system, creating a foul oil-burning smell in the cabin and creating a fire hazard when hitting a 700 degree catalytic converter. Because the entire engine must be pulled to replace the oil pan gasket (stupid design), and I was provided an estimate of $3,200 from the dealer to repair the problem, I reluctantly tried White Shepherd as a last-ditch effort to avoid the expensive repair (I really did not want to put any kind of so-called miracle cure in my motor oil). Because the Northstar engine holds 8 quarts of oil, I added one and a half 8oz bottles of White Shepherd and immediately drove it non-stop for a 2.5 hour period. I am shocked that there is no more sign of oil on the undercarriage (except the now-dry stains where the oil previously collected). The engine ran just a smooth, and the engine temperature remained the same (200 to 220 degrees). It has only been one day since I used this product so I do not know how long it will hold up, however, so far, I am highly impressed! BTW, I know it was the oil pan because I had previously cleaned the entire area with Gunk and drove the car 100 miles. There was no oil above the pan, only from the pan seal and below. The oil was also leaking from the entire perimeter of the pan (at least the areas that are visible while on a lift), not just in one spot - this was a bad leak. No more!

Comments about BlueDevil Oil Stop Leak:

A couple of months ago my college aged sons Suzuki XL-7 started leaking oil badly. {The vehicle has approximately 200,000 miles on it.} When he would pull up to a stop the smoke would roll out from under the car where the oil had leaked onto the exhaust. Rather embarrassing and stinky for a college kid with a girlfriend etc. The car is only worth about a thousand bucks and the repair shop said it was probably the rear main seal. I told him to try the White Shepherd Oil Stop Leak so he did with an oil change. After a day or two the leak had decreased to the point that it no longer smoked at every stoplight. If he gets a half a year or more out of it that would be good. I'm impressed.

Add BlueDevil Oil Stop Leak to your engine oil and it will seal you leaks
from the inside out. BlueDevil Oil Stop Leak isn’t a particulate sealant
and will not clog or harm anything in your engine. Instead, it is a liquid
seal and gasket conditioner that mixes with your engine oil and will help
bring your old seals and gaskets back to their original size and shape
sealing the leak in your motor and getting your car back to working like
                new.

Hi Nitro_rail, glad to assist you! This is used for pinion seals, gear cases, rellable shock absorbers, gear boxes, axle seals, and gear differentials. This Bars Leak Valve Seal Stop Leak (Part No. VS-1) will work fine for your project. This product works in two ways to help solve most any valve seal type leak. A specially-engineered seal restorer additive restores valve seal size, flexibility and elasticity lost due to engine heat, age and high mileage. An advanced seal polymer works by building a polymeric film around the valve seal to help prevent excess oil from bypassing the seal during normal engine operation.
