The TPS is usually located on the throttle body. However, with out the presence of your vehicle we cannot provide you with a 100% answer.

  • Q:

    what does it do
    Asked on 4/5/2010 by Anonymous

The throttle position sensor looks at what position the throttle is at. It uses this as an input to the computer for many different functions such as how much fuel to use, cruise control, and transmission shifting.
