Check Vehicle Fit

AutoLine Carburetors are premium quality units, remanufactured in Canada to original equipment manufacturer (O.E.M.) specifications.

Product Features:
  • All base, body and air horns are stamped prior to disassembly to ensure units are reassembled with the proper "companion" parts. Internal parts such as jets and metering rods are identified, to insure they remain with the original castings, where variations may have occurred at the manufacturing level. This process ensures that original flow characteristics are maintained.. After disassembly all parts are inspected and cleaned in industrial equipment. Internal parts such as gaskets, needle and seats and plunger cups are discarded. All white metal castings are chemically processed to restore the factory finish. All aluminum castings are sandblasted or tumbler processed to restore the finish. Bases are surfaced to ensure proper mating with the body assembly and the manifold. Mounting holes are refaced to assure proper torque of mounting fasteners.. During our sub-assembly process all threads, inlets and vacuum pipes are inspected and repaired or replaced if necessary. Throttle and choke plates are inspected and replaced if not serviceable. Throttle bushings are installed wherever throttle shaft play is not within tolerances. Completed base assemblies are checked for vacuum integrity. Any base that does not meet our specifications must be repaired prior to use.. Throughout our assembly process all body and calibration components are reassembled to the original unit to maintain product calibration. All assembly components are tested prior to product assembly.. Completed product is flow tested throughout all ranges of operation to ensure proper calibration. Choke adjustment, idle speed and air-screw settings are made during product testing. This process allows the technician to start the vehicle upon product installation. Final adjustments may be necessary due to varied engine condition.. All AutoLine Carburetors are remanufactured in Canada and are heat shrink packaged with installation instructions, mounting gaskets and specific technical bulletins.

  • Q:

What is the proper EGR valve that matches this carb? It is for a 1984 Ford F150 4.9 Liter inline 6 (feedback carb system). I see several different EGR valves listed on multiple websites at a wide price range but I am not clear on what the factory part number is so I can make sure it it even a big deal?

I'm happy to help, Clay! The EGR valve used on your 1984 Ford F-150 4.9L L6 can be best determined by checking the OE number. The carburetor used on your truck cannot provide you with an accurate, coinciding EGR valve. This number will typically be stamped on the valve, most likely on the top. Here is a list of the EGR valves and their coinciding OE numbers: BWD EGR Valve Part No. EGR857 replaces OE No. D8BEE1A, E2A
Part No. EGR858A replaces OE No. E0TEA1A, A2A
Part No. EGR968 replaces OE No. E3TEB1A, B2A
      Part No. EGR970 replaces OE No. E4TEB1A, B2A, C1A, C2A, E1A, E2A, E3TER1A, R2A
Part No. EGR854 replaces OE No. D8BEF1A, F2A
      Part No. EGR959 replaces OE No. E3TEN1A, N2A, E4TED1A, D2A

Don't forget to pick up a BWD EGR Valve Gasket (Part No. EVG17 for OE No. D8BE-E1A, 2A,F1A, 2A, E0TE-A1A, A2A or Part No. EVG14 for valves Exc. Stamping No. D8BE-E1A, E2A, F1A, F2A, E0TE-A1A, A2A) or Fel-Pro EGR/Exhaust Air Supply Gasket (Part No. 70020).
