I got this battery for my bike in September it worked good untill November when I put it in storage. I had it hooked to a battery tender in parallel to my boat battery. In March it was still full of acid and had perfect voltage 12.6 I put it in the bike, hit the starter.. click... now its 8 volts. Its fried. My boat battery however was fully changed and perfect.

Comments about AutoCraft Powersports Battery, 12A-A, 165 CCA:

Instructions were easy to follow. Be aware that once you have filled the cells with the acid, you have to wait an hour before charging. Then charging takes from 6 to 8 hours depending on the trickle charger (not included).
Motorcycle starts with ease.

Comments about AutoCraft Powersports Battery, 12A-A, 165 CCA:

Purchased April of '04, worked fine for the first season of riding; but never had the cranking ability I'd expect from a 12AH battery. Charged it occasionally over the winter in the bike and this spring it's very weak. After a full charge (2A for 10-14 hrs) the bike will crank for about 2-3 seconds before the battery will no longer turnover the engine. Metered the battery, it's down to less than 8 volts under cranking. AutoZone's warranty is 90 days, took it to the store to confirm. Read their warranty policy, if it fails within the 90 day warranty and you get a replacement, the 90 day clock does not start over! What the heck is up with that? Bottom line, if you happy buying a new one every 90 days, this is the one for you! Personally I can think of better ways to spend my hard earned cash. Been a loyal Advanced Customer for years, will re-think my purchases going forward.

We just purchased these batteries last year 6/30/12 for our ATV's. We removed them and kept them in our basement during the winter months. We just pulled them out to put them in yesterday and they are dead and will not charge. What is the warranty on these batteries? I could not find that information on your website.
            Thank you,

              A:

The more discharged that a battery is, then the longer it will take to recharge it. Usually it takes several hours to effectively recharge a battery. If a battery is very discharged then it can take up to 12 hours or more to recharge it. While recharging a battery, if the battery becomes hot when you touch it then stop charging it. Slow charge: It is best to slow charge the battery. When charging an automotive battery, 10-amps or less is considered a slow charge while 20-amps or above is generally considered a fast charge. Fast charge: Repeated fast charges on a battery may overcharge a battery and reduce service life.
