If I had read the previous comments, I would have used a hose clamp to prevent the socket from spreading. If you choose to purchase this socket, throw a hose clamp in and use it on tour first attempt....Won't work after you've distorted it. I ended up purchasing the crows foot. While it's stiffer, I still added the clamp and got the job done.

FOR TAKEN OLD ONE OUT ,, I AGREE CUT WIRE AND USE EITHER 22MM OR 7/8 SOCKET.. THE OLD 02 SENSOR ARE IN THERE TIGHT. SO USE 22MM OR 7/8 SOCKET,, THEN AFTER ,,,HAND TIGHTING NEW ONE IN,,,, USE THE O2 SOCKET TO SNUGG IN PLACE
