This tool made changing the rear brakes on my 98 Accord simple, quick, and easy. You will need a 3/8 drive socket extension if you don't already have one in your tool kit. Easy to use, small, and a good tool if you do work on your own vehicles. Well worth it for the home mechanics tool kit!

This tool is made from pot metal and the "nubs" intended to engage the piston will wear away quickly.

This is supposed to be a "Universal Tool" - but it did not fit ANY of the calipers on my Mustang (Cobra calipers) or my Taurus.

Spend the money and get a real tool. The price on this poor substitute is scandalous.

Comments about AutoCraft Disc Brake Piston Remover (3/8" Drive):

This tool does the job for me on my 2006 Chevy Malibu. It does want to slip on you when you are turning the caliper piston in until you get used to it, but I think that would be the case with any tool you used. I would definitely prefer to use this over a pair of pliers or something rigged.

Purchased this from my local Advance Auto Parts store to turn-in the rear brake caliper pistons on my 2002 Honda Accord EX V6 Coupe. It worked great!

It is an inexpensive yet effective tool if you are replacing the rear brake pads on your Honda Accord.

Simply attach it to a 3/8" ratchet (with an extension bar), and you can turn the caliper piston with ease.
