Jack Stands that are very reliable

The Jack stands are very easy to use and are very sturdy for use under a car less than 1.5 tons. In addition, it is easy to adjust the height before use.

  • Q:

Are the jack stands meant to support 2 tons of weight per stand or per set?

    • A:

Great little jack stands, but 2 tons for one stand to support, in my opinion, is too much.It may do it but, go with a bigger stand if it has to support 2 full tons each. Jason Sands

  • Q:

Directions for 2 ton jackstand AC942, line 5, says to secure ratchet by turning stopper to hold load. Where is the stopper. There is no picture except for one showing the tab to be pressed in to the frame.

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

I'd be happy to help you with that! The handle in the picture is how you lock the stand into place. It pivots to insert into the teeth on the shaft of the stand. You have to pull the handle to release the lock, but it auto locks into the teeth when extended. Here is a youtube link on how to operate jack stands. They are not the same ones you are looking at, but the concept is the same - www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BE0xJKczT0
      Hope this helps!
