Good jack if you need something cheap for a small job. It will lift your car, but I would not trust it while you are under the car, use jack stands. It will also tip over easily unless you line it up to move as the car gets lifted. The wheel base is very narrow.

Works fine - easy to move around - much more convenient than my larger, heavier jack that has the same lift strength

Comments about AutoCraft 2-Ton Hydraulic Trolley Jack:

I bought this product for my personal use. I have a compact car, it's a lot easier faster and stable to change a tire than a factory scissor jack. You can't beat the price. I got a good deal.

Perfect for anything with lighter use

Comments about AutoCraft 2-Ton Hydraulic Trolley Jack:

Works perfect for its purpose. It extends to about 13". I did need to add a block of wood under to achieve a few more inches. It held up the rear of car for a tire replacement just fine. I have another higher rated jack for larger type work. Always use your jack stands if you plan going underneath as with any jack.

      • Q:

I bought an AutoCraft 2 ton hydrolic jack. There appears to be no damage to the unit, however, when I try to utilize the jack, it does not lift ANYTHING, and that is after I torque the screw as tight with the handle as I can. I have seen a manufactured hole at the half way point ON the cylinder- is there supposed to be a plug or cover there? If so, can I get that part on order? If not what else could be the cause?
Asked on 6/10/2017 by David from FLORIDA

        1 answer

        • A:

The Plug was rubber and is the fill / drain for the Jack.  Return it as
you have probably lost the oil also.

How do I bleed and replace the oil in this jack?
Asked on 9/28/2016 by HATTIE from United States

        1 answer

        • CUSTOMER CARE

          A:

Hi Hattie, happy to help you! A floor jack has a piston that operates in a horizontal motion. Ensure that the jack is completely lowered. Turn the jack's release valve counterclockwise to lower the jack if necessary. The hydraulic jack's oil filler port is located on the jack's reservoir. The reservoir is the vertical cylinder mounted on the flat base of the jack. The oil filler port is located towards the bottom of the reservoir, near the flat base of the jack. Remove the plug or screw from the oil filler port. Insert the nozzle of the oilcan into the oil filler port. Pour oil into the oil filler port. Stop pouring the oil as soon as it begins to leak out of the oil filler port. Replace the plug or screw in the oil filler port.

Hi Wolfie1038! It should come with fluid already in but sometimes during shipping, oil may have leaked out. I'd recommend that you purchase the standard hydraulic jack oil for this AutoCraft 2-Ton Hydraulic Trolley Jack - Part No. AC924/T82002.
