Happy to answer your question Daniel! If you are taking this item apart to hardwire them it may be difficult, they are internally grounded. A ground wire may possibly be found coiled around the feed wire of the LED. Because this goes outside of the intended use of the part information is not readily available.

I'm happy to help, Matthew! Most vehicles without the cigarette lighter still have an accessory power power that could be utilized. You may also wire them through a hardwire to a constant or switched power line that you could tap into. I suggest a switched line unless you would like the lights to stay illuminated without the vehicle on or the key in accessory. To tap into the vehicles electrical lines you'll need to solder and use heat shrink tubing or use splices to seal your connections. To find good spots to tap into, I suggest a repair manual for your vehicle that includes a wiring diagram or checking some forums online that are specific to your vehicle.
