  • Q:

I asked this question on the other kit also. Want to know about the difference between $233 and $350 kit. Will both control the front and rear air shocks?
I have a Ford Expedition 1998 4WD that the air compressor stopped working. Will this replace the factory system? When working the system is "auto sensing" and the are NO manual controls. Also note that there are NO SHOCKS OR STRUTS when the air is out the body rides in the frame aio have to have this system functional. Thank you in advance. Todd

Happy to help! No, the 25812 is the not the direct replacement for a factory system. I would recommend the 25870 which is a direct fit and also controls two air springs together.

Does this controller assy. include the sensor in the rear of the vehicle that senses and controls the function of the the compressor??

Hi Mitch, glad to assist you! The sensor is not included in this system. The lower pressure sensor is #26042, but this is not sold on AdvanceAutoParts.com. I recommend checking with your local store for availability.
