Front brake rebuild on wife's daily driver. Everything fit well and good quality. Not really mentioned in the instructions, but the inboard pads have the metal shim. Called Wagner tech service and verified that this was the case. Wagner was very helpful - said Venture calipers had thin walled pistons which eventually cut into the Integrally Molded sound insulation built into the pads. The pads are quiet and stop well. Will report back if any issues develop with time.

I didnt but these pads here i got them from summit racing However these cereamic pads i have with my 86 cadillac fleetwood brougham and i have cross drilled and slotted rotors that i recently replaced and let me tell you these are great!!. Once you follow the break in period i suggest you do this and they are grabby at first when cold but when u go for a little bit they arent so touchy. furthermore they are very quiet low dust and have no complaints. also dont quote me but on the box it will say lifetime warrenty Hawk pads are the best bang for the BUCK!!

Only one pad on inside wears down to metal and has no wear tab to signal pad getting low, so I bent wear tab down some to clear caliper and put pad with wear tab on inside of caliper. Could start just replacing one pad every 30,000 miles and use 4 pads to cover 120,000 miles.

I remember when advance brakes were quality. Had these pads on my camaro and my mustang with new advance rotors and the mustang was squealing and grinding. The camaro was grinding and then started smoking. I took them off and bought quality factory parts for both cars and no more issues. I have been a mechanic for over 30 years and always used advance but no more. Seems like every since Advance and carquest came together that is when the parts went down hill.

Purchased new brake pads for ford escape. All parts were there. Usuall you get a small pack of grease inside for brake pad ears and for sliders, was not there. Also after cleaning sliders on my escape the brake ears were slightly wider than the gap and I had to tap them on the belt sander to get to fit,

Very nice /Borat voice. Brake pads need to be labeled inner and outer for my CTS and they were not... so one star deduction. Hardware WAS included which all of the cheaper options do not include. Besides that they are quiet and work as brake pads should. Will be purchasing rears.
