Bottom Line NULL
I thought that I would have to pull-off the steering wheel to install on a 1991 Nissan D21 pick-up truck, but there is no need. Simply had to remove plastic covers (top and bottom) located around the steering column and below the steering wheel. Once completely removed, unplug to separate wire connections and replace with those attached to the ignition switch. Be careful to set the new switch body in the same place on the steering column that the old switch was removed from. Note that the bolts in the old switch had to be drilled out from the bottom in order to be able to remove the switch from the steering column.
