Plug/connection was not the same. Could not use. The length is much shorter too but from what i could find, that won't effect performance. But it won't perform if you can't plug it in. 2006 ford ranger 2.3L

Probably the most overlooked fix for a poor running fuel injected engine. I personally as well as many associates have spent thousands in new parts to diagnose a problem, and it was this simple sensor. The function is to determine the amount of fuel for the engine depending on temperature - they fail at varying ranges -so the car will run good when warm and great hot - or the other way around. At the price point with a lifetime Warranty, it should be a part of regular routine maintenance - a simple fix. Biggest con is that it is Made in China - prefer USA made products.
