My total turns lock to lock is 3 1/4. This unit fits perfect even though the description says 3-3/4 to 4-1/4. I put it on a 71 Chevelle.

Box was ok, it had some kind of nasty looking gear oil inside but it got flushed out when installing. Feels a little tight when first installed but is getting better.

Pretty sure I got the same one that guy from 13 days before me got, input shaft was busted off. They spray painted over it, so it isn't like they wouldn't have seen it. Wildly frustrating to be shipped broken parts and having my time wasted

Received the first one and installed it, went to thread new pitman nut on and couldn't. Upon further inspection I found out that the threads on the shaft were mangled badly. Returned this unit for a replacement, when I opened it I found the input shaft was broken. I'm not trying a third time.
