Car caught fire (nothing to do with the shocks) shortly after they were installed, but for the first 10 miles , a much better ride!

Had [...] install the shocks on a 2000 dodge 1500 conversion van. Paid roughly $50 for install tax included. I watched the mechanic install and took him an hour vs. 20 min.(normal rear shocks). He did seem to have difficulty so advised to have a mechanic do it. Noticed a great difference right away. It firmed up the ride but not too stiff...its great ride for price. I carry roughly 1200lbs when water tank is full and have no problems, it handles well!

Front shocks could compress in by hand and they would stay that way for a few seconds before slowly lengthening doesn't seem Good
