    Here are the Wagner/Federal Mogul installation & bedding in procedures I successfully used, that have finally fixed my recurring brake pedal pulsation problems. I followed these suggestions to trouble shoot & fix my pulsating brake pedal & have finally fixed my 94 Taurus long running, randomly recurring pedal pulsation. The Dealer & myself weren't being persnickety enough in Cleaning All things up & apparently rust on the rotor backing hub was wedging the rotor out enough over time, to cause returning excessive rotor lateral run out/wobble & that was causing the recurring pulsating brake pedal. These are the steps I followed to fix things. http://aftermarket.federalmogul.com/en-US/Technical/Documents/Brake%20Noise%20Solutions.pdf I ordered on line from Advance, with ship to the house at no additional cost, Wagner/Federal Mogul heat treated rotors & Wearever platinum ceramic brake pads. The rotors & pads were properly, or individually packaged, so that the components weren't loose in the box to be damaged by impacting each other in shipment, so all arrived in good condition. Shippment was fast & the parts were the right ones ordered. I followed Wagners instructions for cleaning & installing the rotors & pads, torqued the brake system fastners to spec & wheel lug nuts to mid range 90 ft/lbs spec in 3 steps, then bedded the pads/rotors in, following Wagner's procedure here. http://aftermarket.federalmogul.com/en-US/Technical/Documents/Brake%20Pad%20and%20Shoe%20Break-In%20Procedure.pdf & Wala, no more pedal pulsation. So, if you have, or just developed brake pedal pulsation & have a slip on rotor, make sure you've Thoroughly cleaned the new, or turned rotor & other mating surfaces, as Wagner instructs, or demonstrates in their video, then torque the lug nuts evenly to spec in a 2-3 step star pattern & bed the brake pads in as Wagner suggests & you'll likely be as pleasantly surprised as I, with nice even, smooth, vibration free, new factory fresh like stops!!!! If you have a combination/one piece rotor/hub, make sure your wheel bearings aren't worn out & the wheel bearing free play is adjusted to spec. If replacing the rotors or wheel bearings, don't skimp on quality here, as the bearings will play a Big part in keeping rotor lateral run out in check & a heat treated rotor that's been properly machined & Cleaned, will go a long way to eliminate rotor wobble/run out & brake pedal pulsation, or noise. Replace any worn mounting hardware, as they'll play a part in noise problems too, by causing vibration, clicks, squeaks, moans, groans & other brake noise woes. Taking the time to Properly bed in the new pads so they match the rotor, will have the brakes work smooth, wear evenly, stop better & last for a longer time. But do so as instructed, so as not to get them too hot & cause a glazing, or a pad imprint problem, from coming to a full stop, with the brakes applied to a really hot rotor, during the bedding in procedure. Drive long enough, a mile or so, to Properly cool the rotors & pads down before coming to a full stop with the brakes applied, when bedding in your new, or refinished rotor & new pads, to prevent uneven transfer of pad material onto the hot rotor surface, as this could cause vibration. Some brake trouble shooting & pad/rotor bedding in thoughts for consideration.

    Installed these two years ago to replace some cheaper ceramic pads, and have been quite pleased. The brakes were never strong on my Taurus (and frankly still aren't), but these pads were a very noticeable improvement. Have had no noise, warping, or brake dust. They seem to be wearing quite well too. Definitely worth the money!

    They work just fine and are quiet. Not a squeak at all. The wear on them seem quite good too. However they produce major amounts of brake dust. My front rims are coated with brake dust. I think it is quite excessive over the normal amount of dust. (06 Honda Accord)
