I've replaced this sensor in my 2000 Taurus about 3 years ago, and it made an immediate difference with consistent shifting. It has worked fine now for 3 years. Only buy Motorcraft or BWD for this part.

This is a very good product, well built, easy to install, make sure the O-ring is seated firmly and clean the area well.

The part was exact what I ordered but for some reason when I showed up 2 hours later to pickup the guy still had to pull the part. The reason you use online is so the part is ready for pick up. I just placed another order at this store let's see if they have it ready when we get there to pick it up.

The tank was a good fit. The fuel pump/sender only gave fuel pressure of 25lbs. my truck (1996 chevy k1500) requires 60-66 lbs fuel pressure for operation. 45lbs and below is considered undrivable according to the GM 1996 C/K service manual. I replaced the Spector fuel pump/sender with genuine GM fuel pump /sender and every thing works good.
