    incorrect part for application, do not use in 92-97 302/351 trucks. if your original is black, you need a black ICM (BWD CBE40). using the incorrect ICM will let the engine run but will not allow any timing advance resulting in bad performance and check engine light to be on for Spark Output failure.

    This product doesn't fit the 5.8 liter engine for the 1979 Mercury Marquis Brougham, the wire harnesses are wrong and mine is original. Maybe it fits the 5.0 but not the 5.8 liter.
