The best way to enhance the ride and handling characteristics of your vehicle even if you are a casual, or like we used to say a "Sunday" (God help us) driver. If you make any suspension improvements such as perfomance bushings and add these shocks you will feel like you are driving a new car. Although I changed the shocks rubber bushings to urethane, because of my driving style, the factory installed rubber bushings will give you a great ride/handling/steering control improvement without having to spend really big bucks, and you get a great warranty in the process. That is especially nice for people that like to drive their vehicle for many many years. I will continue to buy this brand for all my vehicles.

Installed on my 1993 F250 they helped out the ride a bunch over the old Monroes that were on it. Time will tell. I previously installed a complete set of Reflex shocks on my Wrangler JKU and made a big difference over the stock Sahara shocks and they held up well on it.

A great fit on my 1992 F-250 4X4. Would highly recommend. A great improvement over the Motorcraft shocks that were installed. Did I mention that these are made in the USA! Use code A123 for $20 off $50. I had to place four separate orders for in-store pickup, but I saved $80!

The shock appears to perform well. But, There are no installation instructions on the box or inside the box for the installation of a large accordion style Red rubber boot apparently made to fit over the shock I assume for looks or possibly keep mud/debris from continually splashing on the piston shaft of the upper portion of the shock. All other Mfg. shock absorbers Co's. do not use such a configuration.

I suspected weak shocks on my 78 Ford F150 and ordered these from Monroe. They went on easily and changed the height of the truck enough for it to be visibly noticeable. I'm looking forward to better handling and a better ride.

The purchace went great online and store pickup. It lost perfect review as 2 boxes had been opened and small parts were now in sandwich zip locks. Some small parts and the Rancho stickers were missing. This is the second time I have had opened boxes and parts missing. I will check all items in the future.

The shocks are great. No problems with those. There was a man x up on my address for shipping though. The address on the receipt was correct but UPS did not have the correct house number and it took three extra days and a few phone calls to robots before I finally got to go get my parts.

Bought 4 new shocks for my 62 F100(completely stock). The first time I lifted the truck in the air to see why it was handling odd, the right front shock rod came OUT of the shock and shot oil all over the place. Looks like the piston was never threaded onto the rod, or possibly snapped...as the threads are still in good shape! The other 3 are still holding out after 50 miles and I'll warranty the right front... but quality sure has gone down hill!!
