These shocks were a perfect fit for my F350. Its hard to tell if there is a difference in the ride since it is already pretty stiff. I'm sure the old ones needed replacing as they had 115,000 miles on them.

The Monroe shocks and their signature yellow housing are unmistakable for OE replacement shocks. In truth, they have the specs and function of some more expensive brands while being a low cost option. Dual piston design and double welded seams will be more durable and last a long time. These restored comfort and stabilty to my Ford F-350 6.0 Powerstroke.

Ok there are two model of these shocks for two different 4wd packages one is lift and non lifted packages the lifted from the factors are all the fx4 off-road packages so these at a 18 collapse is just right if you install these on a standard model truck it will leave no room for travel the other fwd Monroe shocks are 14 collapsed make sure you are buying the correct shocks or you will cause some serious damage to your truck

The welds on these shocks are terrible. I can put a razor blade under the weld. There was no penatration on several of the shock welds. Were is the quality control? For the price you pay for these shocks I would not recommend them! The ride is good but they aren't going to last with the bad welds that are on them! I would have taken them back but the stores do not stock them. Mail order only.
